Growing up in the mountains of Whistler BC it was only natural I got into sport. As a kid it was all about skiing in the winter, and mountain biking in the summer. Powder days were an excellent excuse to skip a few classes at school.

It was the mountain biking that quickly turned competitive, and by the time I was 18 I was racing at the junior world championships with the Canadian national team.

At age 21 I made the switch to road cycling and never looked back. Road racing is what I love, and I feel like I still have a long way to go yet. 2011 was my first season racing consistently in Europe. It’s been an exciting challenge, and this is where I plan to be for several years to come.

Off the bike I am always coming up with a new interest, there just isn’t enough time in the day to do everything. But as long as I’m spending time with my family I’m happy.
